You must take IELTS or any other Enlish Language Proficiency Test if you want to get admission in any of Canadian Universities. Although there are some exceptions if you have been proved that you have taught in English medium at higher school level for at least two years.

Dear Comrade,
I had done B.E in Electronics and communication eng with 57%. I got 6.0 Overall bands(L-6,R-6,W-5,S-5) in IELTS. I got Admission in vancouver institute of media arts. They have given me a acceptance letter (unconditional) and also a leeter stating that i dont need to take up Ielts.
Now,I am going to apply for Visa. If i submit both the letter issued by them and IELTS transcript with 6.0 Overall? will that be a problem as i got 5 in writing?

Just wanted to know is Niagara College a good one for pg in HR? if yes what is the minimum score required to get in to as i have 6 bands overall...with securing around 60% in studies!!! bit reluctant to know as i am putting up ma file....hope visa should b a problem......or else if you can suggest some other colleges or universities suiting ma criteria...:)

Please help. I have done M.Sc and applied to Canadian univs for PhD. I took IELTS and obtained a band of 7. The individual scores are as follows:
L-8, R-7, W-6, S-7.5. Now, in UOT, it says if the medium of instruction during course programmes was in English then one need not submit IELTS scores. However, I have filled up the details in application page but didnot send the test report form. I emailed to enquire about sending the test report but never got any reply from the grad coordinator regarding the same.
What should I do? should I just send the IELTS test report? or is it too late now as I applied for FALL 2012 prog.
