You dont need to send updated documents at this time.
You will be contacted by CHC London once your file processing will be started.

Just wanted to know few things;
1- Under new policy, you need to show funds around $16,967 for 3 persons, so is it also applicable to us?
2- Reading through these forum I came to know that old applications are moved to UK for processing. I tried to confirm that by using the link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en but I didn't see anything else other then "In Process" against my name. So does it mean that my documents are still in Islamabad where I originally applied?

Guess what my case is pending since Nov 2004, and case transferred to London and soon next month it will be 78 months and still no word. 78 is the max. I hope the clock doesn't start from 0 again starting in London? Pretty bizarre to keep on waiting patiently? I will be out of my prime then?
Or Canadian HC should just state the truth that is not interested any longer in new landed immigrants?

I have applied as individual applicant for immigration in June 2007 and my file has been tranfered to London in Jan 2011. During this span of time I got married and Now I have two kids. I am still waiting for documents for further process. In this regard, my question is:
1. How much time CHC will take to start documentation process?
2. How I can add my spouse & kidz in my application? Do I send my spouse & kidz papers
to CHC or shall wait for their response and add them when I will send my documents?
85 months in total. after which there are bleak chances that our application will be successfully processed because there are no more categories in which we applied.
Our applications are considered as back log cases and are burden to visa offices.
better reapply in fresh category or consider Quebec.

Dont worry man. Canadian Govt is aware of the problems of backlog applicants. Thats why they are making plans to decrease new applicants and boost the immigration process of backloggers

It depends on your qualifications whether your application is approved or not. You are free to try other options. This will not have any impact on your immigration case

The people who have applied in 2007 will get response in 2012, chances will be increased for those who have intended to live in other Provinces rather than ontario, Qubec and British Columbia. Because 2012 year is the year of Provincial nominees including those who nominated themselves. At least 12000 applicants will enter into canada through PNP
2. Application submitted before Feb 27, 2008, should keep in mind minimum processing time is 5 yrs.
3. the purpose of diverting FSW application from Islamabad to London is to drop the backlogs. Canadian government is very sincere about the backlogs. Individual thinks only its own file, but CIC is working on more that 200000 files all over the world.
4. Waiting for immigration is big chance for applicants to research on canadian economy jobs educations, because the real trial will be when you get there. So this is my advise do not waste your energy in waiting, divert it to productive purpose. Please make a plan in your mind what will you do in canada, when you get there you will compete with real canadian which is very difficult. Pakistani education is not preferential in Canada. In canada you will start your life from zero, So plan it if you want to business find the business opportunities, if you want to study then go find courses and allocate funds for your study and livings. For a family of 4 they can spend a month on CD$ 1500/- which is end to mouth. New landed immigrant average earning is atleast 1500 canadian dollars.
My advise is to all, surviving in canada is not an easy task which mostly of our friends imagines some time many become frustrated and leave canada forever.
a. go and improve your english. Take IELTS academic. 6.5 bands is necessary for average University admission.
b. find trade apprenticeship courses. (after this individual will earn well).
c. find business opportunities if applicant want to start their business. Getting right business will take you in skies and wrong decision will smash you on land.
c. Gather funds and study again.
Canada is not a paradise, its all up to you, if you want to make it paradise or hell.

I have received a letter from Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi asking my passport to sticker my visa via courier. i was working in Saudi Arabia, now i am in Pakistan. I have checked with all courier in Pakistan, but no one is accepted to take my passport to Abu Dhabi to stamp my visa.
