Lawyers and consultants are completely different. Canadian lawyers are licensed by their respective provincial Law Societies, and usually will have had 7 years of education, 1 year of on-the-job supervision and intense training, and often years working with other lawyers. You will want to google "consultant+fraud" to learn some of the issues associated with consultants. Some are good, others ... well, your research will educate you.

Canadian immigration representatives are either a Canadian immigration lawyer or am immigration consultant REGISTERED with CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants).

Lawyers can help with everything from applications to court. Consultants have some limitations on what they can help you with.

Hi everyone

I have lived in Canada for several years, working. But didn't knew how to stay. My experience meeting other immigrants was that, it matters who your lawyer is if you want to win your case. Another thing.I think it's a good idea to visit and work in a country before deciding to immigrate. It's a huge step to take in life.Just be course other people from the same country lives there and loving it, doesn't mean another would love it.Just my opinion. There are people returning to their home country again, be course it wasn't what they thought it was, life was to hard, spirit another and so forth. Just think about it hard before making dicissions like that. I am from Denmark and love being there, it feels like home to me, but I can't live there. To many rules, edducations to have, skills to have and so on.My heart is a true Canadian.Maybe in another life.

God bless

Sincerely Lotus
