CHC new delhi has increased timelines to 90 months bcoz there were some cases of dec 2003 were also pending. Now the procedure is better than before and these timelines will be reduced

Comrade you know, had I invested my money in a flat worth 30 Lakhs in 2004 today the price of the same flat is 1.5 crores.I lost on many such investment opportunities,thinking that my visa is round the corner and I would need liquid cash to move to another country.CHC New Delhi and CIC does not consider value of fixed assets as proof of funds but only consider liquid cash that is debt free, because of this rule I was unable to invest my money since I always thought that I would get my visa in a few months, but what I though was few months has now become 78 months, these people have now made the wait 90 months. I have paid a huge price by filing for Canadian immigration! who is going to pay for Damages!!!

Dear comrade as per your predictions that oct 2004 will get medicals in arly 2011 and july 2004 in 2010, means ther will be a great rush of medicals in Nov DEc 2010. Federal Skilled Workers who applied before 28 February 2008. Time to Initial Review:- 84 months. Time to Finalization:- 90 months.
I feel when CHC New Delhi updates its website we will come to know if they really made any effort at all to clear the backlog, 2004 applicants are all anxious,but I don't have a clue when they will update the content of the processing times web page. Which show the same old data what changes is only the date modified at the bottom. The million dollar whats their plan to clear Jan 2004-Dec2004.
Comrade for DEC 2003 applicants it will be 84 months this Dec 2010, and 90 months in June 2011. If you go by the logic of 84 months for initial review and 90 months for finalization which is the time line currently displayed on CHC New Delhi processing times web page,then I guess Jan 2004 applicants will start getting medicals only after June 2011.
Dear comrade, Now it seems to be clear that pre feb 2008 backloggers will not be called at and now is the right time to withdraw the application and put energy to settle in india to regain lost oppotunities which i have wasted during the waiting period. I am one of you waiting for last 7 years and i know i have lost my prime age along with many oppertunities in this wait.
Canada is not the only country that offers better living, better governance, and the good life we all dream of having, their are countries like, Denmark, New Zea land, Australia that are Canada's competitors in immigration, and have very low processing times as compared to Canada I think its time I consider these countries over Canada.
I have been to Canada many times and their is nothing very special about the place its freezing cold in winters and even the summers are cold .only the downtown areas have a good skyline,once you step out of the downtown area,their is nothing special its just all very empty all over. We look at some Photo's of good buildings and decide to immigrate to that country, when you step your foot their you will come to know about the realities, its nothing great, we think its paradise but once you step out of downtown areas their is nothing special about the place!! I have heard many local Canadian's say that they want to immigrate to warmer countries! once they retire.

As of March 31, 2010, the number of people in the backlog of federal skilled workers—those who submitted applications prior to February 27, 2008—had been reduced by over 40 percent; CIC is well on track to achieving a 50-percent reduction by 2013. The total federal skilled worker inventory—those received both before and after February 27, 2008—has been reduced by 16 percent. How u analyse this statement. Dear comrade, you have advised above that all 2004 applicants will get visa in 2011, seems not coming true. as per the trend and movement of cases ,it is evitable that 2004 Dec applicants will get visa by end of 2013. we realy appriciate you in giving us all a ray of hope but you know false hopes has already taken its toll on many of us and has ruined our future plans to the extent that loss occured both in financial terms as well as socially is irrepairable and will go a long way. Dear comrade, with optimism we have waited for such a long time of 78 months. it is not a small time. we have been on the net only due to this resong almost daily and incured expenses for knowing the trend of our cases. it has nothing to add to our knowledge, carrear or what so ever which improves our plans and way of life. I have been informed by one consultant that CIC will stop fast track quota totally from 30th June 2011 and will assign the quota to 2004 and old fast track in a certain ratio from Jan 2011. Let us see what happens in Jan 2011. Probably 100% of 2004 and 50% of 2005 should get medicals in 2011. All the best and best of luck

The wait for 2010 is now over. We are already into December & a week later CIC is going to go on a long Christmas Vacation.
To all the people who are waiting for their medical papers lets say Good Bye 2010. Lets admit that CIC has been unfair to us this year by selecting immigrants from 2008 even after immigration minister John Kenney announced in June 2010 that all the old papers would be processed this year.

Dear All, I would also like to share the pains, I had with WWICS. I applied as an IT consultant in the year 2004. At the time of application they said that 18 months was the waiting time.When formalities were completed they called me and said about 48 months.About 4 months back they called and told me to register at first track as accountant, for which I have to show funds again and to go for IELTS and waiting time is 12 to 18 months. I disagreed with them and prefered to continue as 2004 applicant. Now they do not have any update and go on saying that since I preferred not to take fast track they cannot do anything. This is WWICS.

We all are waiting for immigration to Canada for more than 6 years and there is not a single ray of hope for us till now. CIC is misguiding us from two years (2008). Our time line are increasing regularly by CHC & CIC. When ever applicant reach the time line it is again raised. The question is when it will end. Or it will go to infinity.
Hon'ble immigration minister of Canada had made the major changes in the immigration act in 2008. After that Backlog is stable where as it was in 2008. Backlog had reduced little bit because of many applicant had withdraw there cases instead of waiting & waiting. Applicant applied before us are now in Canada for more than year and we all are waiting here. This is injustice of Immigration Minister of Canada. Looking at present speed of Canada high Commission, New Delhi it is clear they dont want to clear backlog POSITIVELY. CIC had ruined the future, Family, carrier etc of applicants.
But now it is time to get together and come on the single platform and raise our voice. We had formed an Association of Applicants applied before 2008 of Canada Immigration. We are planning to raise voice against injustice of Immigration Minister of Canada. This will be very planned & DECENT protest against CHC, New Delhi & CIC. It may not be right to take out our frustrations on Minister Kenny since he is one of the only immigration ministers to recognize that Canadian immigration processing times was poor as compared to their competitors like UK,Australia, New Zea land. He made serious changes to the immigration system processing times for New applicants by way of fast track processing, but has forgotten about how to clear the backlog for old applicants,ironically CHC New Delhi this far has not been able to show any tangible evidence that minister Kenny's change has been implemented in a positive way it high time they show some results.

I think Comrade has been employed by the CHC to mislead applicants. They know by increasing the waiting they are getting rid of applicants, Who have passed there prime or have moved on with there life.

Only CHC New Delhi has had a bad track record of being very slow, other CHC visa offices like London etc are quicker and have lesser wait times.For all you know 90 months may become 100 months soon. Don't be surprised if this happens, CHC New Delhi is making a fool out of the people. Very pathetic and painful!

Had Liberals remained in office for an other term, we all have surely got PR long back. they were having a proper planning and justice to every individual. this is our misfortune that Mr kenney came to this office and obstructed the smooth going. but there is one top man above all and that is Mr Great God who is seeing all these mis deeds of human beings and every one responsible will surely get rewards what ever he or she deserves. My friend from CHC london got his visa stamping he applied in 2006 a FSW but here in CHC New Delhi Dec 2003 applicants are still pending 2004 has not even been started.
I was going through the CIC Website today. It read "Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010 10 months". (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp) Presuming CIC did not accept any applications after 25th June 2010, applicants who applied on 25 June 2010 will receive their Visas by April 2011. Which means the process for applications for 2004 will begin in the next couple of months. Guys lets cross our fingers & wait for another anxious couple of months & keep following the CIC Site more closely. Any updates please post it here.

My application was received at Delhi office on 25th Sep'2004. Subsequently my updates were received by Delhi office on 13th Feb'2009 along with inclusion of 2 more new members of my family due to my marital status change. I have not heard anything since then. When will i be able to see some progress in my application status. In the meantime there has been lot of changes to the positions of all of my family members like job, qualification,foreign visits etc.

Comrade you know, had I invested my money in a flat worth 30 Lakhs in 2004 today the price of the same flat is 1.5 crores.I lost on many such investment opportunities,thinking that my visa is round the corner and I would need liquid cash to move to another country.CHC New Delhi and CIC does not consider value of fixed assets as proof of funds but only consider liquid cash that is debt free, because of this rule I was unable to invest my money since I always thought that I would get my visa in a few months, but what I though was few months has now become 78 months, these people have now made the wait 90 months. I have paid a huge price by filing for Canadian immigration! who is going to pay for Damages!!!

I just checked. And I check this web-page nearly everyday.Date Modified:2010-09-28 is the date that appears at the bottom of the CHC New Delhi processing times webpage, but guess what the content has been the same,their has been no change.

Time to Initial Review:- 84 months.
Time to Finalization:- 90 months.
I feel when CHC New Delhi updates its website we will come to know if they really made any effort at all to clear the backlog, 2004 applicants are all anxious,but I don't have a clue when they will update the content of the processing times web page. Which show the same old data what changes is only the date modified at the bottom. The million dollar whats their plan to clear Jan 2004-Dec2004.
Comrade for DEC 2003 applicants it will be 84 months this Dec 2010, and 90 months in June 2011. If you go by the logic of 84 months for initial review and 90 months for finalization which is the time line currently displayed on CHC New Delhi processing times web page,then I guess Jan 2004 applicants will start getting medicals only after June 2011.

Canada is not the only country that offers better living, better governance, and the good life we all dream of having, their are countries like, Denmark, New Zea land, Australia that are Canada's competitors in immigration, and have very low processing times as compared to Canada I think its time I consider these countries over Canada.
I have been to Canada many times and their is nothing very special about the place its freezing cold in winters and even the summers are cold .only the downtown areas have a good skyline,once you step out of the downtown area,their is nothing special its just all very empty all over. We look at some Photo's of good buildings and decide to immigrate to that country, when you step your foot their you will come to know about the realities, its nothing great, we think its paradise but once you step out of downtown areas their is nothing special about the place!! I have heard many local Canadian's say that they want to immigrate to warmer countries! once they retire.
Where are you, comrade ji? pl visit with your advise regarding 2004 cases .

Dear comrade, you have advised above that all 2004 applicants will get visa in 2011, seems not coming true. as per the trend and movement of cases ,it is evitable that 2004 Dec applicants will get visa by end of 2013. we realy appriciate you in giving us all a ray of hope but you know false hopes has already taken its toll on many of us and has ruined our future plans to the extent that loss occured both in financial terms as well as socially is irrepairable and will go a long way. Dear comrade, with optimism we have waited for such a long time of 78 months. it is not a small time. we have been on the net only due to this resong almost daily and incured expenses for knowing the trend of our cases. it has nothing to add to our knowledge, carrear or what so ever which improves our plans and way of life. I have been informed by one consultant that CIC will stop fast track quota totally from 30th June 2011 and will assign the quota to 2004 and old fast track in a certain ratio from Jan 2011. Let us see what happens in Jan 2011. Probably 100% of 2004 and 50% of 2005 should get medicals in 2011. All the best and best of luck

The wait for 2010 is now over. We are already into December & a week later CIC is going to go on a long Christmas Vacation.
To all the people who are waiting for their medical papers lets say Good Bye 2010. Lets admit that CIC has been unfair to us this year by selecting immigrants from 2008 even after immigration minister John Kenney announced in June 2010 that all the old papers would be processed this year.

I would also like to share the pains, I had with WWICS. I applied as an IT consultant in the year 2004. At the time of application they said that 18 months was the waiting time.When formalities were completed they called me and said about 48 months.About 4 months back they called and told me to register at first track as accountant, for which I have to show funds again and to go for IELTS and waiting time is 12 to 18 months. I disagreed with them and prefered to continue as 2004 applicant. Now they do not have any update and go on saying that since I preferred not to take fast track they cannot do anything. This is WWICS.

We all are waiting for immigration to Canada for more than 6 years and there is not a single ray of hope for us till now. CIC is misguiding us from two years (2008). Our time line are increasing regularly by CHC & CIC. When ever applicant reach the time line it is again raised. The question is when it will end. Or it will go to infinity.
Hon'ble immigration minister of Canada had made the major changes in the immigration act in 2008. After that Backlog is stable where as it was in 2008. Backlog had reduced little bit because of many applicant had withdraw there cases instead of waiting & waiting. Applicant applied before us are now in Canada for more than year and we all are waiting here. This is injustice of Immigration Minister of Canada. Looking at present speed of Canada high Commission, New Delhi it is clear they dont want to clear backlog POSITIVELY. CIC had ruined the future, Family, carrier etc of applicants.
But now it is time to get together and come on the single platform and raise our voice. We had formed an Association of Applicants applied before 2008 of Canada Immigration. We are planning to raise voice against injustice of Immigration Minister of Canada. This will be very planned & DECENT protest against CHC, New Delhi & CIC. I think you shd get the refund u can write to the CHC New Delhi stating that you are fed up waiting and that you want a refund. I think they will refund.

It may not be right to take out our frustrations on Minister Kenny since he is one of the only immigration ministers to recognize that Canadian immigration processing times was poor as compared to their competitors like UK,Australia, New Zea land. He made serious changes to the immigration system processing times for New applicants by way of fast track processing, but has forgotten about how to clear the backlog for old applicants,ironically CHC New Delhi this far has not been able to show any tangible evidence that minister Kenny's change has been implemented in a positive way it high time they show some results.

The cap for new 29 list is reaching to few proffessions from the list. I am a Social Worker who recieved AOR on August 2004. Do you advice me to go ahead with a re application or wait for the decision on my application.

STILL DEC 2003 CAESE are pending. applicant last week of dec 2003 are in queque . this forum is biased, it donot post any information that dec 2003 cases are pending. try to become unbiaed. few days my comments was not posted because i have said that 2003 cases are pending.

Only CHC New Delhi has had a bad track record of being very slow, other CHC visa offices like London etc are quicker and have lesser wait times.For all you know 90 months may become 100 months soon. Don't be surprised if this happens, CHC New Delhi is making a fool out of the people. Very pathetic and painful!

Had Liberals remained in office for an other term, we all have surely got PR long back. they were having a proper planning and justice to every individual. this is our misfortune that Mr kenney came to this office and obstructed the smooth going. but there is one top man above all and that is Mr Great God who is seeing all these mis deeds of human beings and every one responsible will surely get rewards what ever he or she deserves. I was going through the CIC Website today. It read "Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010 10 months".

Presuming CIC did not accept any applications after 25th June 2010, applicants who applied on 25 June 2010 will receive their Visas by April 2011. Which means the process for applications for 2004 will begin in the next couple of months.
Guys lets cross our fingers & wait for another anxious couple of months & keep following the CIC Site more closely.
Any updates please post it here.

My application was received at Delhi office on 25th Sep'2004. Subsequently my updates were received by Delhi office on 13th Feb'2009 along with inclusion of 2 more new members of my family due to my marital status change. I have not heard anything since then. When will i be able to see some progress in my application status. In the meantime there has been lot of changes to the positions of all of my family members like job, qualification,foreign visits etc.

Today only I checked with WWICS Chandigarh wrt my application, wherein they have clearly said that no timeline has been given by CIC. So 2004 applicants keep your fingers crossed and just wait.

I need your help in this. Mine is a sept 2004 file and my immigration consultant has asked for CAD 700 for filing a suit against chc in canada. According to immigration consultant, those applicants who will file suit will be cleared first.
Request you to please suggest whether I should wait for chc to process my file in normal course or participate in filing a suit as suggested by my consultant.

it revealed that the litigation process might take more than a year. So what do we gain?As per interaction with wwics I am totally frustrated as they do not have any info and goes on saying that about an year is needed.

Even if you get it in a year time by littigation ,then feel you are lucky. else you will get never. so file littigation right now
its another kind of fraud by the consultants. nowadays they don't have immigration file processing due the cap. so as planned for gaining money from the old applicants in the name of litigation filing. Don't be prey again to that cheating consultants again and again.
