Me along with my husband applied for Canadian Immigration in August 2007 from CHC Islamabad. Can anyone tell that when will we hear from CHC. Its a long time no status update except a confirmation letter from CHC last year that i still interested in canadian immigration or not

Sir, Thank you very much for this 2007 Applicants’ forum, I’m a Filipino citizen and an old Canadian Immigration Consultancy (CIC) applicant and we are now in our "waiting period". We received our acknowledgement letter last January 22, 2007 along with the receipt for the cost recovery fees that we have paid. Sir, how many years more are we going to wait for our interview. ReplyDeleteI have heard that CHC ISB pre Feb 2008 cases are being transferred to London, UK. Is this correct? if yes, why? would it expedite the process or make it even slower. What do u think can be the approx date for cases of June 2007 after they are transferred to London, UK.
I applied with my husband as skilled worker for Canadian Immigration in July 2007 from CHC Islamabad. In their acknowledgement letter they mentioned maximum time 36-42 months but I am still waiting. Till now I didn't receive the midical tests request , their response to my last status quiery in April 2011 was Background checks are in progress for my application . Can you advise please when I can receive the request to do medical tests.

When do I have to give my IELTS exam because for CI IELTS is only valid for 1 year and so far my application is still in Process when i check it online. By when can I get a call on my application.

We're still waiting for our MR. can we expect something early next year? Our documents were sent from CHC Manila.

How long its going to take to receive the medicals, I see there are further delays in PR application processing time.

ReplyDeleteIts better to wait for your previous case because family physician is not present in 29 list and the competition is very tough due to 500 cap on each profession
Although you may try in 3111: Specialist Physicians but as i said earlier the competition is very tough.

I have heard that now CHC Dhaka are also assessing immigration application. Can I know when & from Which CHC will call me for an interview. I have learnt that IELTS score is valid for next two years. I am waiting since feb, 2007 and now losing my hopes being losing my patience. I dont know why the canadian government is not understanding the problems of long waiting applicants. 5, 6, 7, 8 and some friends of 9 years this is too much.

ReplyDeleteAt present there is no chance to get a result from your present file, as CIC decided to returned and refund all application still in ques who applied before 27 Feb 2008. If Canadian Parliament allowed in 2012 budget to do so, then you can expect to get returned and refund shortly.

ReplyDeleteI am Ganesh, working for an organization in Canada under Work permit Category (Intra company transfer). My work permit is supposed to expire by Dec, 2012. My employer said my WP will be filled by end of Nov to CIC. I am a skilled worker and hence my wife got an open WP and she is working for a different organization.
ReplyDeleteMy employer is willing to apply the WP for mine and visitor permit for my wife – it is the company process. I have already placed a request to extend my WP and my wife visitor permit (means my wife’s open WP is getting converted to visitor permit and eventually she may loose the job).
Some of my colleagues suggest to pull the application placed by my organization and apply online later to my application placed by my organization (as my spouse’s WP should not reach CIC before my application approval).
Question:
Can my WP and my spouse WP can be applied separately?
If my application is applied online and is my spouse application for Open WP also requires to be applied online?
If I apply my Spouse application online, how my spouse organizations agree that she is legally allowed to stay in Canada?
Does it need to go through any legal process as a proof for the organization that the OWP has been applied?
How the SIN will work for her until she gets the open WP?
The only document what we have will be the receipt for paying 150 dollar fee for the application fee, will it be enough for any organization to allow to continue to work ?
