Pakistanis has a lot of concern about canadian immigration time from Pakistan. Normally, for the applicants who applied before 27 Feb 2008, their immigration cases are finalizing in 45 to 60 months. The applicants who applied under the new criteria of immigration with the specific skills in one of the 38 required occupations, their immigration case processing time lies between 12 to 22 months.
But after the visit of Canadian immigration minister to Pakistan, Canada recognized this long waiting time for Pakistanis and decided to reduce the long immigration time. In January 2009, Canadian Visa office in Pakistan issued letters to all future immigrants who applied before febuary 2008. The letter was issued for the consent of applicants whether they are still willing to immigrate or not. This procedure removed the backlog of Canadian Immigration applicants from CHC Islamabad.
From 01 April 2010, all files of Canadian Immigration Applicants from CHC Islamabad has been transferred to CHC London in order to expedite the immigration process and time.

I applied in June 2006 and I received the above mentioned letter seeking interest for immigration back in April 2009. It has been mentioned in the above post that by issuing the letters in January 2009, the backlog has been removed. Could anyone be kind enough to explain this, since as of today CHC Islamabad is processing cases of 2004.

You can get demand draft from Dollar East after pay Canadian Dollar 500 equal in Pakistani rupees. Your educational degree will attested from only from your institute / university. Your university attest the copy of your degree and seal that with university stamp. Please let me know if you any any further information.

I am impressed to see that protest compaign as it is too long and hectic to wait for the destination for which no one even those people who are finalizing the cases are not shour. And i was requested to submit IMM008,IMM5406 generic forms and some other documents a year before.Later on my case has been trnsfered to london office on 29th september,2010. And now every thing has stoped. When should i expect the humble reply from london office?

ReplyDeleteI applied for the immigration in october 2004 and in november 2010 they asked me if em still interested and to submit the IMM008 and other forms and required documents .
There hasn't been the slightest change in my Status at the official cic.gc.ca and I haven't received any mail or call from London (Where my case is currently being Processed).They say that the application processing time is about 7 years +- 2 months and for me the times gonna end in January ...

2012 will bring approval or withdrawal of all backlog applications. because canada entered 280000 immigrants in 2010. So it is likely to come in 2010

ReplyDeleteAs per canada immigration plan of 2012, approx 47000 backlogh applicants will be cleared in 2012. So it is most likely that you will get your immigration this year
i applied as FSW in april 2010, now we r waitig fpr medicals, the london office sent us a letter that we would hear from them after 8 months and incase we do not recieve any letter we should contact them, we have contacted them after the colapse of 8 months, my question is how much more time will it take to process our application.

I have recieved my letter of sending my passports and pictures to the canadian high comission islamabad by feb 22 of 2012. My medical expires on the 26th of march. Is it possible that i can go there alone before 26th march and my rest of the members join in later.
is it compulsory for them to come along and spend 1000 days our of 4 years or is it compulsory only for the principal applicant to spent 1000 days.

ReplyDeleteDear All, we are flushed out as Government of Canada announced of eliminating backlog applications. Applicants who applied before 27 Feb 2008 will receive their full payment along with application. Canada wasted our 5 to 8 years in waiting and now they are returning our files.

ReplyDeleteProcessing time for Pakistani applicants is increased a lot. I submitted my documents in April, 2010 & received a letter that my case will be processed within 8 to 12 months. But I have not received any news till now.
