Canadian Skilled Occupation List 2011-2012

On June 25, 2011, CIC has announced new skilled occupation list for potential Immigrants beneath federal skilled worker program to Canada. As stated by announcement there is no amendment in the skilled occupation list and the list of 29 occupations that was announced on June 26th, 2010. The following list of Canadian Immigration Occupations is once more being reproduced for your instant reference.

The orders on profession list announcement will apply to applications received by the chosen Citizenship and Immigration Canada offices on or after July 1, 2011. All Federal Skilled Worker applications received by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia before July 1, 2011 shall persist to be considered for processing having stared to the list in place at the time of receiving. Considering that there is no modification in list, they might not get dissimilar treatment.

    Dear Professor,
    You profession does not lies in the federal skilled occupations list of canadian Immigration but it does not mean that you cannot immigrate to canada. There are many other ways for instance Quebec Immigration or PNP of different provinces

    Hey....One of my friends wished to migrate to Canada under Skilled Workers Program. He is a Civil Engineer. According to him, he has seen a category named Construction Engineer on NOC in summer 2011. But now when he has prepared all documents, the category in no longer there. What would you suggest? Is there a chance that the said category will repair on NOC once again?
    Secondly, what about cap for each skill category (I guess 500 application). Is there any any country wise quota? If not, then CIC can receive this much application even in a one day?

    Do I have a chance to apply for Immigrant Visa if I am a Nursing Graduate only ( not licensed )but my work background is receptionist in the clinic, who handles insurances up to the present and I worked as well as a customer service agent (call center industry).

    I am 28 yrs. old, married with 1 daughter which is 2 yrs old.

    Hello Sir,

    I would like to know and ask that, why Canada has not include occupation in shortage list for 3D Digital Artists ?

    As there are less artists in the world and every country has shortage of good artists for 3D Animation, Games, Entertainment.

    UK has shortlisted this occupation in their shortage occupation list, I request Canada should add this occupation for Skill worker list of shortage occupation.

    I am a 3D Artist. and working on contract base with UK EU and USA companies.

    What you are not told is that when you come to Canada no one will recognize your education or experience. My wife is an Ophthalmologist and here is what she is told

    She has to enter a bridge program that will cost in excess of 75,000. Then she was informed she could not practice in Ontario.

    They do not want immigrants unless your willing to work for 9 an hour.

    What a disgrace
