The profession of NOC 3111 Specialist Physicians is one of the 29 demanded List of Occupations introduced by the Canadian government. This group provide to 3111 specialist physicians for function areas such as clinical medicine, surgery in addition to laboratory medicine.

•Discussions with other physicians as consultants.
•A specialist physician is supposed to have the skills to be able to make a diagnosis and treat diseases along with other physiological and psychiatric disorders.
•Set down laboratory tests, X-rays and diagnostic procedures.

Such medical practitioners are more often than not found to be working either in hospitals or have their personal private practice. In addition, there residents who are trained to be expert physicians are also a fraction of this group.
