Now can she go ahead and apply for PR as a principal applicant?

  28. Hi Comrade

    Good Day!

I would like to ask for some help regarding my inquiry. I am a Registered Nurse in SK(waiting for my PR) and from Philippines.Once I got my PR, I want to sponsor my 3 brothers back home in Philippines and get married as well.(My brothers are all nurses too and trying their luck in obtaining elibility from SRNA as of the moment.) My dilemma is, Im planning to marry my girlfriend who is also in Philippines on whom I have a son. Could my marriage will affect my planned sponsorship to my brothers? I am afraid that it could be a cause of denial from immigration due to financial support issue since I will have a family. Please also note that even if I'll get married, my first plan is to petition my brothers first before my wife and son. I am also looking for a possibility that because of that set up, immigration will deny my application for my brothers because I am supporting my wife and son in the Philippines. Would like to ask your good office for what could be the best decision for this. I hope you can assess my scenario and I'll be glad to work with you. Thank you for reading my email and hoping for favorable response.

    Best Regards,
    Gerry

  69. Hello. My friend lives in Mexico where jobs are not readily available to workers over 40 years of age. He is 46, a smart man with a 4-year degree in Communications from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He was in Canada almost 20 years ago. He applied to Canada as a refugee and was able to work from 1995 to 1998 (Vancouver). Canadian immigration sent him back to Mexico in 1998, so it's been over 10 years since he's been there. He wants to find out his status for returning there, he would like to work there again and wants to apply through the proper channels. How can he find out his status? What are his options? He has approached a job consultant for assistance but they want $3,000--is this typical? He is a very nice man and a very hard worker. Can you tell me what to do so that I can advise him the best way possible? Thank you so much!

I attach 22 Lac (around 25000 CA) transactional bank statement for past three months and also along 25 Lac worth National Saving Certificate(around 27000 CA) that's mature in 16 feb 2012.
    My Question is....

  93. Hi! i am a new immigrant here in british columbia and had a stable job since september 2011. I understand that one of the requirements to sponsor a spouse is I've got to have an option-c copy of my tax assessment for the year. the thing is, i just filed my income tax about 3 weeks ago and when i called CRA they told me that my tax assessment will be available in about 2-3 months since I am a first time tax payer and an new immigrant here... will my application for spouse sponsorship be affected if I don't provide the option-c copy of my tax assessment?

  94. Hello. I am a Russian citizen with two Bachelor`s. First is in English and German (a teacher), the second - in Public Relations. I`ve been working as a technical interpreter and translator for 5 years and as a private English tutor for around 8 years. I know my occupation is not in the list. But I calculated my points - it`s 65. What immigration program can be the best for me? Or can I apply under general stream? I read that you can apply under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, general stream. For that you should have at least two friends there (if you have no relatives or other connection to Canada). What are my chances?

  96. Hello. I'm so glad that I found this page.

I have an important question. I'm 23yrs old from Philippines being sponsored by my first degree cousin in Saskatchewan under SINP. We're still waiting for the results.

My question is, if ever I'll be getting married a month before my papers approved, are there any possibilities of conflicts on my immigration, or can i bring my future wife instead?

Your answer will change my life. Thank you so much.

  102. Hi,

Thanks for the free advice you offer people, really nice :)

I am presently in the process of sponsoring my husband, inland.
He came to Canada and asked for refugee status, which was denied in August 2011. We got married October 2011 and Vegreville received our application on December 30 2011.
In April, my husband had his PRRA meeting and we found out this week that his PRRA was refused. Initially we were told that since the sponsorship was started way before the PRRA he wouldnt be deported but we met with the CBSA and they said he had 60 days to leave the country. They gave us 60 days because of the sponsorship and said that if I'm accepted as a sponsor with those 60 days there would be a stay put on the deportation. The advisor also said she would contact Vegreville to tell them to make our case a priority so we could get an answer within 60 days.

My question is, can they legally deport him even though the sponsorship was received before the PRRA?

  107. Dear,
I'm sorry to bother you or if I do not write the right people, but I do not know where to write more and give a reply with the answer.
I am 28 years. I came from Serbia 25 June 2011 in Vancouver in the family to do live in caregiver job childcare. I started working July 4 and on July 16 stopped working the former employer told me I have me in advance to ensure interviews next day and go on job interviews. I also they told me can not have me because of financial problems.
In another family-employer I went to 21 July 2011 and the beginning of August we started the procedure for for new work permit. The procedure lasted from August 2011 until February the 13th 2012th
Two days ago they told me they resign and I have 2 weeks resign time to find another family.
Because I have some friends in Toronto, I think that I come to ask the family to a new employer.
What are my rights here? whether I am still in the country legally, and what do I do?
namely, in 2011 I was in the Canadian embassy in Belgrade, Serbia obtained a work visa until 31/08/2013, with the other family here in Canada I got work permit to 13.02.2014.
but I have a visa in your passport until 31/08/2013.
what to do and how much time I have to find another family time ?

And if is possible to looking for other employer in other area like travel.tourism, hospitality because i have high school degree in that,bu i never worked.
If is possible to not work in childcare live in caregiver anymore if i find employer in this above area and what type i need to looking for visa. I already get w-1 worker multientry visa for Canada?
If i am eligible for landed immigrant here or not?

Thank you for everything if only a small response,
Thank you for your time,I know is a lot of questions but i need to know what is my opportunity here.
    Sincerely,
    BC

  108. Dear Comrade,

I want to apply for PR under CEC graduate students (undergraduate). As stated on their website, one have to apply withing 2yrs of graduation. On my result, it was dated Oct 05 2010, while my degree certification date was dated Oct 26 2010.
    1. which date will CIC consider as my graduation date?

My second question is, my boss put in application for employee screen for Ontario PNP July 17 2012. it takes 90days to get the result back. If it is approved and i apply for the nomination before October 26 2012 but after Oct 5th 2012
    2. Will my application be received
    3. Assuming it is received and approved by January (3months after), i understand i then have to send my application for PR to CIC, would CIC refuse me because at the time they will receive my application, its already past 2yrs of my graduation?

I applied before but i was refused with an excuse that my job duties as written in my reference letter does not match under the NOC code(2172) that i claimed.

Please advice and i will really appreciate your advice. my self and daughter have been distanced from my husband for years now n his visitors visa have been rejected 3times. PR seems to be the last option to gt him to Canada so we can be together as a family.

    Thnks.

My contract here in Saudi Arabia would end on August 23, 2013, now I need to submit my application form for working visa as my LMO will expire on December 1, 2012. I am confused as to what I write on the " Expected duration of employment". Do I need to based it before my LMO expire or based it on the end of my contract here in Saudi. By the way, my future employer in Canada is willing to wait. Please help me. Thank you so much.
