Last year 2009 suddenly I was asked to re-consent my intrest in migration.

Now the on line status of official website shows the following "your application has been sent to England CHC on 29th October 2010,and await further contact from London office"

    Will you please advise on the following;

1-as what type of check London office will perform?

2-what documents London office can ask me further?

3-when I will be asked for submission of Medical Exam and Police Clearance report and my Passport?

4-Why Islamabad CHC has not asked me for submission of Police clearance report or Medical Test, when many of the applicants have been asked so before transfer of their applications to London office?

  64. Hello
I read Indian applicant forum, they are very organize and have well informed about CHC Delhi.
Pakistani applicant waits from some 2004 and all 2005
One important news share, embassies staff very capable and well trained, Government of Canada issue order all applicant process with two months they will process.
Canadian economy depends on America. American economy is down so that indirect impact on immigration process.
If you see previous history CHC Pakistan cases process.

    Year of Applicant Cases finalize
    2001 2005
    2002 2006
    2003 2007

    2005

    Dear Mr. Comrade,

It has been noticed that applications in Manila filed on March 2005 have not moved for a year now. Although, those applications since Feb 2005 and before have already been approved since last year. Intriguingly enough, those applications filed starting Feb 2008 and above have been moving since late last year. Although it already appears unfair, do you happen to know the rationale behind this shift of processing. Also, will it be more beneficial for us if we just pull out our old applications and file a new one. By doing so, we will no longer be affected by the old system and our applications will be expedited. Please advise. Thank you

  83. Dear Comrade,

I submitted my application to the Canadian Embassy in Manila in May 2005, received my file number in July 2005. I received a letter asking if I want to proceed sometime late 2006 or early 2007 (I don't remember exactly), and I said yes. It's now 2011 and no news yet. When do you think I will receive request for updates on my data/documents from the embassy?

  85. good day sir,
we have applied for PR in canada AUGUST 2005 here in the phils. Received our immigration file number last NOVEMBER 2005- on the same year. Four years later at exactly NOVEMBER 2009, we received a confirmation letter stating f we still want to continue with our application. It was the last communication sent to us by CIC. To sum it all, we have been waiting for 5 years & 10 months already.By the time we received our IMMIGRATION FILE NUMBER-LETTER we are promised to wait for 42-46 months starting from the time of application. How can this be when its more than the promised time frame. I think a WORD OF HONOR has to apply on this case.

In all honesty sir, how many more years do we have to wait in order for us to able to move on. I have a growing family. We love each other and & as much as possible, we dont want to be separated.

Frankly good sir, we -all- cannot move on....

    thank you & God Bless

  86. dear anonymous from the phils.,dated may 30,2011.we have the same status.me and my family cannot move on.we stopped buying a car, buying new appliances, my husband going abroad to augment the income, and fixing the house for good for the worry of sooner, the canadian embassy would recall us for update to canada.but, until now,the canadian embassy remains very, very silent about our long and queued application since 2005.my family and i applied in june,2005 and we received our acknowledgment from canadian embassy in july 2005.

indeed, it is agonizing to wait for the unknown.moving on is very hard as well as spending is tightly controlled with the mixed feeling of disappointment and agony that until when we would be called up.

comrades at the canadian embassy, kindly give us now the fastest time around because we're getting older, and we still want to experience in our younger years the comfort of living there with our children whom we have considered in immigrating there.

we are calling on all the heaven's doors to answer our plea.we are still here.waiting and hoping and most of all praying to be recalled the soonest possible time.....please....!!!!

  87. i guess all of us 2005 applicants have the same situation and feeling..AGONY OF THE LONG WAIT..
i also applied for FSW last feb 2005 and received my AOR april 2005, by oct 2008 i was able to recieved another letter asking if i am still interested in my application, after that no news from the embassy, it really hard to cope up with this kind of situation, we are all left HANGING IN THE AIR and don't know what to do.

just hoping that before the end of june,2011 we will all be able to hear some good news from the embassy.

  101. To everyone,

CIC has not been open with all applicants regarding the true status of the system. Inside information I received indicate that for those who applied in late 2004 to late 2007, applications will no longer be entertained. The main thrust of the embassy is on applications starting 2008 to now. It has been suggested to pull out all old applications and re-apply for a new one

    ReplyDelete
  102. Dont lose your heart friends. Although there is a delay due to a change in system but you will be treated fairly according to the system of your time. As you might know that 2004 applicants from India are receiving their medical request. the new immigration applications are limited to 10000/year due to the fact that Canada want to clear backlog first. Despite of the fact that what happened to back loggers from 2008 to June 2011, the canadian government has realized the difficulties and now the things are streamlined

  118. Its not your fault but its your good luck that you applied in 2004-05-06-07. In 2008, Canada has restricted its occupations list. These days it is very difficult to be eligible for Canadian Immigration

In your time there was no requirement of specific occupation and you were fortunate and eligible.

So wait for your turn. Don't worry at all. Pre 2008 applicants are very lucky.

  123. Today I received an email from IOM office. Contents are hereunder....Read carefully last lines

Dear Amir, Thank you for this additional information.Copying Sadia Zarif in IOM Islamabad. 2005 is a very long time ago… In order to attend a COA session you must first have been granted a Canadian visa.Along with that visa should come an invitation to attend our COA session. Our COA trainer would then travel to Lahore to deliver a pre-departure orientation session once a considerable number of people have been referred to us. As you know, because of the security situation, the Canadian High Commission is no longer processing immigration files from Pakistan, but from the UK; thus the longer delays. Let’s stay in touch in order to ensure that you do get that session once your visa has been granted. In the meantime, if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and Ms Zarif.

Please remain patient. May 2012 be the year that delivers that long-awaited visa! Happy New year to you and your family. Louise Bélanger From: Amir Chaudhry [mailto:amirch07@gmail.com]

  142. Respected comrade,
I am puneet from Punjab, india, My file no. comes in feb.2005 and send the required documents as and when requested. I sent mail to embassy in nov.2011 and as per there reply, they donot need persons applied before 2008 and they have enough capacity of required labour so they told they have stopped our cases processing atleast till 2012 and after 2012,according to requirement, they will update us.
But sir, at the time of application, the processing time was around 60 months and now its increased 93 months for india cases. why the embassy is doing so as it is their duty to cover our cases with in time frame admitted at that time. But as if they will continue increasing the time, what will be our future. Every one who applied before 2008, sacrificing their opportunities one or the other ways to get in line of PR to canada. But can u update, when can our wait be over in near future. As in one paper it printed that all cases before 2008 have been canceled by embassy. is it true?

    Please update

  147. BREAKING NEWS

The Government of Canada announced on 29 March 2012 a plan to reduce the backlog of Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications by returning all applications and government fees submitted prior to 27 February 2008. This will amount to a total of almost 300,000 returned applications, as well as approximately $130 million in refunded government processing fees.

Approximately 160,000 FSW applications, submitted after 28 February 2008, will remain in queue for processing.

    The Announcement

This statement has been issued as part of the larger Federal Budget for 2012, which was released on 29 March. The budget includes information for reducing national deficit and creating more fiscally efficient government infrastructure, an integral part of which is tied to immigration policy and processing times. As part of this plan, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), is expected to reduce its operating costs by $179 million over the next three years.

The budget mentions that “Canada risks losing the global talent competition for the world's best and brightest as potential immigrants choose to take their skills to other countries with more responsive immigration systems rather than remain in the queue to have their applications process in Canada”.

With this in mind, the decision was reached to not only return the approximately 300,000 applications, but to focus on creating a system that would streamline processing and “reduce duplication and overlap” in the overall structure.

    Government Rationale

The applications being returned are currently only from the FSW program. No additional plans have yet been announced to address backlogs in other immigration categories.

CIC hopes that reducing application numbers will allow it to streamline its programs in a way that will eliminate overhead costs currently incurred by dealing with the backlog. For instance, some visa offices devote significant amounts of time and money to processing pre-2008 applications. With these out of the way, visa officers will be free to devote time and energy to processing applications that have a higher likelihood of approval under current government standards.

The decision is also part of a larger effort by CIC to “transition to a faster and more flexible economic immigration system”. This new system will be aimed at more accurately addressing Canadian labour market needs as well as better serving those applicants still in line to be processed. Currently, Canada is facing severe labour shortages, specifically in Western provinces where skilled tradespeople are in great demand.
