  12. Dear comrade, as per report submitted by Honable minister on ist nov there is nothing for 2004 backloggers. your perdictions seems to be proven wrong at once as only 13200 PA are to be called from whole world. how 2004 will get visa in 2011, is a suspense and thing of the past.

  13. Date Modified:2010-09-28 is the date that appears at the bottom of the CHC New Delhi processing times webpage, but guess what the content has been the same, their has been no change.
Federal Skilled Workers who applied before 28 February 2008.
Time to Initial Review:- 84 months.
    Time to Finalization:- 90 months.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Dolly, can you provide the source where you got the information that Kenny said only 13200 PA will be considered worldwide??? Man if this is true CHC New Delh is yet again setting wrong expectations in the minds of hopeful immigrants.

  16. Dear Preeti,
    Have you updated your documents?

    ReplyDelete
  17. dear comrade,
yes i updated my documents to the CHC in nov 2008 .they asked me to submit all police clearances - of every country and i got the PCC from India and also Jakarta as i worked abroad for 3 years.
IELTS certificate was submitted in original in 2004 itself with my original form application.
Will i have to give my IELTS once again? Spend all that money and go through a 2nd round of exams.unnecessarily?Pls do update. Thanks
when i applied my son was 13 years old and now he is 19 years old...i am the principal applicant- a Textile engineer with 18 years experience of handling the garment business internationally -- Calvin Klein,Tommy Hilfiger brands etc ...my husband is no more ....will all this affect my application....Pls advise
    Thanks and God Bless!

Dear comrade sir, Nov month is in progress, but the situation remains yhe same. we are not hearing any movement of 2004 cases. in this way not even Nov but also Dec will pass away.what is the reason for non movement of 2004 cases? Honable minister has sain on june 28 taht he is worried about backlogged cases and will do justice with them. Pl come out with latest development in clearence of 2004 cases.

  20. Comrade I recently got a US H1B petition approval and I am a 2004 PR applicant from CHC New Delhi, my concern is how can I continue pursuing my Canadian FSW application at CHC NEw Delhi if I move to US, since I have waited for almost 7 years now?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Comrade do you have any information if CHC NEW Delhi has cleared Dec 2003 backlog and have they opened the Dusty files of Jan 2004 applicants?

    ReplyDelete
  22. dear Comrade

  24. Comrade seems to be unsure his silence says all. Christmas and thanksgiving is approaching next month, people start planning their vacation I hope this does not effect the processing of applicants, 2003 Dec is still pending as per CHC New Delhi has to show some results its high time now! its in-human to keep people waiting so long! total injustice!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Some of the recent revelations of the ministry are confusing..They say that we will finish of 50% of backlog by 2013: that eventually is only 10% increase from the current 40% achievment..reiterating the confusions prevaililng among the 2004 applicants.
I think Comrade is maintaining a learned silence for having clarity before saying some thing... I really appreciate your responsible ways..making the forum a reliable solace for the members..

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thy are right, as per the quota available.10% quota means 10% of 380000 backlog, means 38000 applications which means around 116000 visas. this much quota is only available for two years time for backlog if we consider fast track quota alsi in line.If this happens to be true then I estimate 2004 year will be clear by 2014 completely i.e Dec 2004 applicant get visa in 120 months

    ReplyDelete
  27. If this is true if its going to be 2014 its time 2004, 2005 all trash this immigration plans its not worth waiting for so long I think its time to consider other countries like UK, New Zealand etc. which are equally or even much better.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This CHC New Delhi have been very insensitive this far only talks no result!!!whats the guarantee when 84 or 90 months get over CHC New Delhi is going to not increase it to 100 months or 120 months? I guess if they had done such a thing in the Canada they would have got sued in court by now! Only claims of backlog clear are being made their is no tangible proof to support the claim! so far, we want results no talks! 2004 applicants have waited enough

  30. I am the applicant of 2004, i have been waiting for long time. it seems i applied for this to lose so many opportunities. what chc is doing. dont they have any courtesy on 2004 applicants?
Dear comrade please inform CHC how 2004 applicants are in desperate state

    ReplyDelete
  31. dear Comrade

I applied for canada immigration from India in Nov'2004 and I got my file no. in Feb,2005.pls tell me when i m going to get mah med. as it is taking a long time ......i would b thankful to u if u tell me the exact time period .
    scampy. hayer

    ReplyDelete
  32. Exact time period is hard to define but as per my perdiction you will receive your medicals in 2011

    ReplyDelete
  33. i have applied in dec. 2004. updated documents in dec.2008. i will avail canada's PR certainly even if it comes 1n 2014 or 2015.one thing is sure, after reaching canada i will drag this immigration deptt. to federal court of law for crushing human values by false promises.they have committed a gross injustice by starting three parallel stream in FSW category

    ReplyDelete
  34. I will also do the same. Not only I will drag cic but also Mr kenney in the fedral court for mentally torturing us by startig fast track which have affectd directly we people. Mr kenney have no mind in his body to think that by his action thousand of people will be badly affectd.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Dear Angry Applicants,
Please relax. I alredy suggested that this is a bonus time for you to enhance your skills as per canadian job market. Minister Kenney is working for you people. He is fighting on many fronts for you people

    ReplyDelete
  36. 7 years is more than sufficient to enhance ones skills, no further enhancement is necessary for most I guess. I think its time CHC New Delhi and others CHC enhance their skills to ensure faster processing of 2004 applicants!!!!!!!! and grant visa to all deserving 2004 applicants!

    ReplyDelete
  37. FROM 33 MONTHS INITIAL TIME LINES ,CIC HAS EXTENDD IT UPTO 84 MONTH.IS THIS TIME NOT MORE THAN ENOUGH TO HONE OUR SKILLS? I THINK MR KENNEY WANTS THAT WE ALL DEMISE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE SO THAT HE CAN SHOW HIS BEAUTIFUL ARTIFICIAL PERFORMANCE REPORT INDICATING REDUCED BACKLOGGED.AM I RIGHT ,MR COMRADE AND MR KENNEY?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Dear sir, pl cool down and have patienc. Hope fully backlogged cases will start satisfactorily from jan 2011 onwards.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hi commrade thx for your update my sis in india applied 2004 june and despreatly waiting for any response or medical can you pls tell how much time left husband name is santokh singh sokhi and sister is satwinder kaur sokhi.i have file number too if you want. As a canadian citizen can i help to fast process

    regards
    pam

    ReplyDelete
  40. Immigration ministers Kenny's June 2010 to clear backlog is just of no use, since despite this new rule CHC New Delhi is moving at a snails pace and is sleeping over dusty 2004 files. Comrade I am planning to withdraw my application and forget Canada and get my money back and apply for some other country. It is not worth waiting for so long. I don't want to be a old man when I reach Canada. I have already wasted for 80 months now its absurdity!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hi All Applicant of 2004,

At last I got the forum where I can take out my frustration for applying immigration to Canada in 2004.Guys the time has come to show India is not far behind Canada, India is becoming global market in alomost all sector. The pace at which CHC is working shows, they dont wont Indians to come to Canada, but they are not coming in public, so they are playing with our life by not finalizing the cases. This all sucks, I will recommend all my friends and relatives not to even think of applying for immigration to Canada. CHC will spoil their career and life as well.
All the best guys, move ahead in life.
Moving to Canada is not the end of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  42. But dear, cic should return all our expenses along with interest for the lat even years, atleast. We will do a great injustice to our conscience if we forget about canada without getting our money back.suppose if we dcids to forget it at all then cic will again restart getting applications from innocent people and will collect crores of dollars and this unwanted illigal buissness will go on repeat go on indefinitely.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Is the June 2010 amendment made by Minister Kenny a Gimmick since at the CHC New Delhi this change has had a reverse effect, instead of reducing the timeliness they increased the wait to 84 months for initial review and 90 month for finalization, and ever since then they have not shown any signs of improvement..A GIMMICK INDEED!

    ReplyDelete
  44. a rumour these days that

chc will clear cases in january

    ReplyDelete
  45. Canadian Immigration process has really dissappointed year 2004 applicants very badly. It's now more then 6 years that they have waited..... They have been bitterly mistreated, disappointment is at peak, hoping against hopes is not a remedy. They must think about alternatives. Now, who will bring their 6 years back ?

    ReplyDelete
  46. CIC IS MAKING FOOL OF HUMANITY

    ReplyDelete
  47. Comrade, in Oct-Nov 2010 you said 2004 applicants will get medical requests from Jan 2011 onwards, 8-10 days left to see how true your predictions are gonna be:-) May the New Year bring Hope to 2004 applicants..Cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  48. CHC New Delhi's formula to reduce backlog:-

Frustrate Pre-Feb 2008 applicants by increasing time-lines just when earlier specified time-lines are nearing their due dates = Withdrawal/dropping of immigration plans by applicants= CHC New strategy of backlog reduction.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Comrade correct me if I am wrong dose the 90 months stated for finalization on CHC. New Delhi website means that it takes 90 months for Passport stamping??????

    ReplyDelete
  50. Its the New Year 2011 and Comrade its also the month you predicted 2004 PR applicants from CHC New Delhi would start getting medical requests. I hope and pray your predication turns out to be!!!!!!!!!!true !!!!!!!!!!!!!GOD Please help us!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Comrade would it be right to assume that the claims you made in Oct 2010 are Bogus. In OCT 2010 you said CHC New Delhi applicants will get medicals in early Jan 2011.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I applied through cosultant and through them I got information that two of the persons received medicals who applied in Jan-Feb 2004.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Joti go off to sleep cause that's what CHC New Delhi has done after they asked for file update's from 2004 skilled worker applicants. All the 2004 FSW applnts. wasted time, effort and money for Police clearance etc. to update files in 2008/2009 but after that CHC New Delhi went off to sleep and did not contact any one, they only wasted our time, money and effort..This is very painful but true!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Mr.Anonymous you cannot trust consultants they just lie sometimes to pacify frustrated applicants, so its not necessary that Jan, Feb 2004 applicants have got medicals. But we hope what u say is not just another rumor.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Dear comrade, when will 2004 starts getting medicals requests? The new policy was adopted in June last and next june is only five months ahead. We are very much worried. has Immi Minister lied in his statement that he want to be fair to people who are waiting longest.

  79. FACTS
    I APPLIED ON 30 DEC 2003
GOT FILE NO. ON 5 FEB 2004
    NO MEDICAL TILL DATE

    ReplyDelete
  80. Their is so much of negativity in the minds of 2004 applicants that even if CHC New Delhi says its going to clear backlog soon or Kenny says he will be just to people who have waited the longest, it will be hard to believe, since year after year CHC New Delhi has mislead applicants with bogus time-lines and it has been misleading lakhs and lakhs of immigrant hopefuls!!!!!!!!!Very Pathetic! Who will compensate for this lost time?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Comrade Ji ,we are all missing you very badly.

    ReplyDelete
  82. hi
as per current trend, applicant can get medical after 84 months from date of file number issued, and it will take 90 months to get visa stamp from date of file no.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Chahal, its not 84 months from the date of issue of file number but 84 months from the date of receipt of application,

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  90. Jan 2004 applicants from india has entered into 86 months after receipt of application.

    ReplyDelete
  91. APPLICANTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED 86 MONTHS ARE YET TO GET MEDICALS.WHAT IT SIGNALS? IT IS ANY BODY CONCLUSION.

    ReplyDelete
  92. FOR ALL U KNOW- 76 MONTHS of wait became 90 months, IT MAY EVEN BECOME 102 months and then 202 months and then 302 months and so on for finalization. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When will CHC New Delhi become more efficient??????? they are slower than a turtle!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I DON'T KNOW WHY CHC NEW DELHI IS MISLEADING LAKHS AND LAKHS OF HOPEFULS WITH BOGUS TIMELINESS THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO LIVE UP-TO IT!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I MUST SAY, ARE THEY EVER GOING TO IMPROVE? CHC NEW DELHI IS THE SLOWEST CHC IN THE WORLD THEY MOVE SLOWER THAN A TURTLE!

    ReplyDelete
  94. hi dear comrade ,please wake up.i am very worried about my family future. Please come out and clear the picture for 2004 applicants. Thanks

  95. Comrade where are you these days, have you gone down to CHC New Delhi to issue the medicals you predicted 2004 applicants would start getting by Jan 2011:-)

    ReplyDelete
  96. my mom also applied in jan 2004.. and still waiting for the medicals.. i wonder if they are gna respond back ever ??!! when i realised, they wont.. i moved to canada as a student and hoping to get our case cleared soon !!! for all sept-oct 2004 applicants, add 7 months more thn expected since 2004 january applicants have not received any response yet.. it sucks !!! all the best to all of us thou.. i too want my pr soon as intnl tuition fee is way tooo much !!
and to the guy who made this blog, thanks for creating this blog but now its hardly yours as i can barely see ur posts..since this forum is not about wishing good morning good evening or telling your holidays but to educate people about the present scenario which is quite clear in my mind with people's comments on this forum !

  97. 2004 FSW APPLICANTS HAVE ENTERED 7TH YEAR OF WAIT FOR A PR FROM CHC NEW DELHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What to do OR WHO TO BELEIVE is the million dollar Question or should I say the Canadian Dollar Question?

    What to go by?????????????????????????????????
CHC New Delhi's current time-line 84 months for initial review and 90 months for finalization OR

Comrade saying be patient 2004 applicants will start getting medical requests soon, as predicated BY HIM which was early 2011 for 2004 applicants OR

Trash Canadian Immigration hopes and Plans and Move on OR

HAVEN'T WE WAITED ENOUGH 7 YRS IS A LOT OF TIME 2004 APPLICANTS IS CHC NEW DELHI LISTENING?????????????????????????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  98. ITS 90 MONTHS 7.6 YRS OF WAIT FOR JULY 2003, THAT MEANS ALL JULY 2003 FSW APPLICANTS from CHC NEW DELHI SHOULD HAVE GOT FINALIZED! AS PER CURRENT TIME-LINES PROJECTED ON THE CHC NEW DELHI WEBSITE!!!?
QUES: WHY IS THE CHC NEW DELHI WEBSITE STILL SHOWING THAT JULY 2003 APPLICANTS ARE BEING FINALIZED?? HAVE THEY DELIBERATELY NOT UPDATED THEIR WEBSITE TO AVOID UNNECESSARY INQUIRIES FROM PEOPLE now DESPERATELY WAITING FOR 7 YEARS for some results from CHC NEW DELHI!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  99. may we not unitedly file a litigation demanding a logical reason for the delay in processing time from 33 to 90 months.this will help to make the CHC in a serious way.because if we are united we have much power

    ReplyDelete
  100. IF CHC New Delhi gives us a clear picture as to when 2004 can expect finalization, and most importantly live upto the picture they provide on their website which is currently 84 months for initial review and 90 months for finalization THEN we can atleast plan our LIVES! accordingly but what aggravates most of us is that when they say 84 months or 90 months for finalization and finally when 84 and 90 months are nearing completion they push the dates ahead THEN BANG!!! All that we plan goes haywire and down the drain, IT ALSO ends up in a lot of frustrations and loss SINCE WE alter decisions in life keeping in mind 84 and 90 months. Why don't they just say exactly once for all what time it will take and live upto the time-lines and save us the horror for all 2004 applicants!

I have with me a small reciept which tells my file number and the money recieved by the CHC, this is the second dated which is dated EARLY Jan. Now the third date is showing on the CHC web site and this is MIDDLE of Jan. The fourth date is the first letter I recieved from the CHC along with the reciept which I have already Mentioned, the letter is dated end of Jan. Now which is the date on which my processing has started.. Can you help

    ReplyDelete
  113. I was in my late 30's when i applied now i am in my mid 40's.. still waiting for the medical.. Does this ring a bell... We are getting older fast and CHC is sleeping over our file.. They refuse to answer a simple question. 'WHEN'

  115. I have been following the CHC website since Dec 2009. In Dec 2009 the web site was showing "processing Dec 2003 Cases" Today it is still showing Dec 2003. The CHC has been Shifting the "Goal Post" ever since. They have increased the "processing time" from 72months in Jan 2010 to 84 Months today. I feel THAT I have been CHEATED and CHC is working to a plan where it wants to frustrate the pre 2008 applicants so that they withdraw their applications. A very sad state of affairs I must say.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Canada prides itself of being crusader of Human Rights. Its sad that CHC has become insesative to the human feelings of lakhs of pre 2008 applicants...

    ReplyDelete
  117. Yes, you are absolutely right

    ReplyDelete
  118. Very interesting observation has been made by someone that ‘PR status is a favour to us and not our birth right’ though I agree with you that it is not our” birth right” but do you realize most of us only want to know is …are we going or not and if we are going then “When” that is all. I personally feel this is a very relevant question after 7years of waiting and not getting an answer to this simple question is cause of anger moveover when you can see all around you post feb 2008 applicants are getting to know their status in a matter of few months and reach canada within a years.

As per me its no favor neither its a birth right,it is a mutual benefit, they sell us a dream of better life and governance and we offer our skills in return to fill the need of the Canadian economy. But very few know that all this comes at the cost of extreme weather conditions for Eg. In Alberta temperature drops below -25 degrees.

  125. Preeti,
This survey is only for the new proposed ammendments to the immigration process and it dose not directly affect backlogs cases-
CIC is consulting with stakeholders and the public on the proposed changes. The input received through the consultation process(The Survey results) will be taken into account in the development of new regulations. A summary of the results of this process will be published on our website in spring/summer 2011. Only totals from each question will be reported (names, identifying information or organization details will not be included in the report).
Keep track of cic.gc.ca to see the results of the survey!

  126. Bad news Guys the CIC Website has added 3 months more to the Processing times for federal skilled workers application processed from New Delhi as usual they go on increasing the wait as time passes the website it earlier showed 79 months now as per the update on 15-03-2011 it stands as 82- check the link below-
    http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp
THIS ALSO MEANS THEIR IS A HUGE POSSIBILITY CHC- NEW DELHI WILL DO WHAT IT DOSE THE BEST INCREASE WAIT TIME FOR BACKLOG CASES on the CHC-New Delhi website for now it still shows as 84 months for initial review and 90 months for finalization-Below is the CHC-New Delhi processing times link:-

  129. Well I am stuck waiting for this Visa for 7 years and cannot apply for another country like Australia, New Zea land, UK since then my family members will get scattered. We are a close knit family and prefer living together in the same country in this case Canada. If I did not have any family ties I would have trashed my Canadian Application file by now and moved to Australia, New Zea-land, UK or any other immigration competitor of CANADA, these countries are equally good or maybe better!!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Points to Ponder:- Even if CHC-New Delhi works all the 365 days in a year and Finalizes 1 application everyday of 2004,at the end of the year it would have finalized only 365 FSW files. And the backlog is in thousands or maybe lakhs what are the odds that 2004 applicants will get finalized this year?????????????? if so then how many???? And how quickly.

  145. Mr. anonymous it really felt nice when you said all will get it July 2011 given the fact that we are waiting for over 7 yrs. now

Chahal- Is 30 dec 2003 the date of receipt of your application by CHC-New Delhi, since chc- nd processes application on the basis of the date they received it and not when they started processing it.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Chahal, its high time you write to CHC-New Delhi and ask for your status!

    ReplyDelete

file no. issued on 5 feb 2004.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Chahal-You can try writing to CHC-ND but then you can only expect the standard reply when you write to them which is Your file is awaiting review from a visa officer" we will contact you when its time, something on these lines is standard answer from CHC-New Delhi. Comrade any suggestions?

    ReplyDelete
  149. comrade is busy compaigning in upcoming canada elections, i think.Thats why he is not answering any querries

    ReplyDelete
  150. If CHC-New Delhi atleast tells the backlog applicants by when they can expect a visa for sure its good rather than just replying that your file is awaiting review from a visa officer, with such a answer we atleast can plan our lives ahead or probably move on if its a rejection. But they are not saying yes neither are they saying No. They are just dragging things on FOR nothing and causing frustration!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Chahal the way things are moving for you i.e. its your 87- 88 month of wait and you still don't have a medical request, I wonder what is going to happen to the rest of us given the fact that CHC-New Delhi received your file on 30th Dec 2003, is this another year that will go by for 2004 applicants.Comrade any predictions? or are you going to hide behind your disclaimer, sorry to say this but I am loosing patience, I am frustrated with this attitude of CHC-New Delhi! God Save us!

    ReplyDelete
  152. chahal---Please let the blog know the response when you get one from CHC-ND once you write and receive a reply. I must say we guys have great stamina to drag on for over 7 years and still hope.

  153. If I ever knew this Canadian-PR is going to take so much of time I would have not applied at all.And would have applied to some other country like Australia or UK.
I now feel I made a blunder waiting for over 7 years, the years of my youth I have lost are irreversible.

I feel CHC-NEW DELHI should formulate a special team of visa officers to focus only on the backlog!!!!!!!!!!!!! clearance only then something can happen else 7 years will become a decade of wait, since the current trend depicts yet another failure of CHC New Delhi to meet processing time deadlines they themselves have set! Very Disgusting and Pathetic! performance.

They are playing with our emotions and are eating our years from such a short life. What about our kids? When will they learn the culture or style of other countries? ReplyDelete
  168. Hi guys... It seems canadian government has already digested the money collected from old applicants and now they r just fooling around with us by taking money from newer ones and keeping older ones in waiting list.
I read on ministers website that they are still doubtful if they can start clearing the backlog from 2011. It is definitely not known to anyone who has applied for immigration to canada and everyone is just guessing.
I have written to the cic twice clearly mentioning that I have certain opportunities in hand and if they let me know even briefly how longer it is still expected to take. In their reply, the officer mention two small lines.... "we have received a completed application from ur side. Till date there is no change in the status of ur application and we will inform u incase there is any progress. Hope this information is of help to you."
They have also increased the average no. of months to 85. Nothing is known to no one... we r all really wasting the most productive years of our life!

  195. Is there any Canadian Body / NGO, who can help individual in India , as our word are not heard any where , neither the represenative , nor the Visa office.

Immigration is applied to canada as Canada is inviting immigrants to the country.

Once Candian Govt ( CSIS ) gives case number , It is CSIS non obligatory duty on part of fair govt paractice to look in to the cases.

2004 - 2011 By any standard any where in the universe, time period is not justifiable.

During this time frame , life gets changed totally. and all planning for individual may have collapsed.

in fact this delay may have harmed the planning for every one in this forum ( 2004 ). This is causing immense trouble to all peoples who has applied and planned accordingly for the period of 2004 to may be 2010. All the palnning has gone in the waste as it is as good as People has to start a new planning/ course bcz of this delays. I donnot know who is running this blog post as moderators, But i did not find any thing and consoling to all the post.

The time frame is ever increasing by year and year in CIC site , now it is alomost to 8 Years.

    ReplyDelete
  196. A very well written post (14th Aug). The situation is really very sad. All planning and dreams have gone for a six. My situation is so bad that for the last one and a half years I have been ahead of the processing time shown on the cic website by three to four months and no one is listening

    ReplyDelete
  197. I got file number in Aug 2004. Updated document sent in oct.2008. Expecting this I could not build my house in India, which I could have completed 6 years back at 1/3 of the cost it will need now. In these 7 years many things have changed. After that the processing time acts like rubber. Longer and longer by months. Now 7 years completed.
Now what to do after waiting for so long. I am in Dubai. But i filed when I was in India. My colleagues who have applied from here in 2007 are already settled in Canada. i am still waiting. But how long. Who is there to listen to our problems? Lets wait. At least before retirement they may call.
