IELTS General or IELTS Academic for Canada Immigration?

For the IELTS writing and reading tests, there are two kinds of IELTS test i.e. ‘IELTS General Training’ and ‘IELTS Academic’. Always keep in mind that only the IELTS General Training tests are accepted for CIC and Canada Immigration purposes.

For Canadian Immigration, IELTS or any other language test results must not be older than one year at the time of application. Canadian Immigration Officer establishes these test results as decisive evidence of the applicant’s proficiency in that language.

  2. Hello Anonymous,
CIC do not accept IELTS Academic Module for Canadian Immigration purpose. So your IELTS Academic Test is useless for Canadian Immigration purpose.
You must the take the IELTS General Training test again in order to qualify for Canadian Immigration.

  7. I have already faced a problem in that country. They will never ever welcome you warmly with their open arms.Immigrants from third countries are considered as a visible group in Canada.Trust me,there is no such opportunities in Canada. They only talk big things about immigration, safe & multicultural society, land of opportunities. If you don't trust me please visit notcanada.com and find out the reality.
